SCRAP BASKET ROSE QUILT TOP

As I mentioned in a past post, the girls in my friendship patchwork group each made 3 blocks for my 'SCRAP BASKET ROSE' quilt.

It is featured in Volume 15 Number 9 of APQ magazine and is made by Susan Murphy.

I have completed the top, ( it is photographed on a queen sized bed) except for the borders, as I can't decide how to do them. I don't want to do the ones in the actual pattern.

HELP - any ideas would be most welcome!!

That is so nice what a great job you have done....What about something dark next to frame the quilt..and then it would depend on much bigger you wanted to make it...the quilt is truly lovely.

Hi there, just thought I would give you my opinion for the border, I would like to see the white star points brought out into the first border to finish off the stars that only have 3 sides, then you could go from there.
The quilt looks great.

I agree with keslyn and then a dark border. It's an amazing pattern. Lovely.

Very nice top. A darker border would be nice. I also like the idea of continueing the stars into the outer border. I look forward to seeing what you do.

The top looks wonderful! I think too that a dark boarder will look great! Good luck and please show the result.
